Tuberoeruptive xanthomas (TX) are xanthomas that arise typically over the extensor aspects of the elbows and knees, as well as on the heels and soles.


Clinical

Firm papulonodules beginning in childhood or adulthood over the joints, especially the elbows and knees, heels, and soles occurs.

Treatment

Referral to a specialist for evaluation and treatment should be done.
