Nevoid hypertrichosis represents a congenital area of increased hair growth.
A congenital area of stable hypertrichosis is seen. Linear patterns and those following Blaschko's lines have also been documented. The color of the terminal hair is usually the same color as the scalp hair, but rarely may be gray or white.
No treatment is needed. Laser hair removal may be performed.
