Lipohypertrophy may occur at the site of chronic insulin injections.

Clinical

Hypertrophy of adipose tissue is seen.

Treatment

These changes usually resolve after the injections stop. Rotation of the injection site in the case of diabetes helps. Liposuction has been done.
