FOLLICULAR ECZEMA

Follicular eczema


Eczema may preferentially affect the perifollicular area. When prominent, the rash may take on a papular appearance. This is more common in darker-skinned patients and especially those with atopic dermatitis and is called follicular eczema.

Clinical

Perifollicular, hyperkeratotic, scaly papules are seen.
