Accessory Tragus

The accessory tragus is a congenital malformation of the external ear.

A small tag, papule, nodule, or pedunculated lesion is located just anterior to the ear. In some cases, multiple lesions are present.

No treatment is needed, but surgical excision may be performed. If there is any suggestion of a connecting sinus or fistula, a pediatric otolaryngologist should be consulted.
